The On Running Cloudsurfer Max is a low-top running trainer built around On's Double Cloudtec Phase Comfort system, and it's an easy pick for anyone after a cushioned, cushier ride with a bit of extra visual interest. The knitted mesh upper runs from a deep navy at the heel through a speckled fade of white and grey flecks towards the toe, giving this pair a textured, dynamic look that stands apart from flatter block-coloured trainers. A rubberised navy toe bumper protects against scuffs, while a fabric heel pull tab makes it simple to step in and out.
