The On Running Cloudnova 2 brings the brand's distinctive CloudTec cushioning to a sleek all-black colourway, built for men who want a trainer that performs as well on a long walk as it does on an all-day errand run. The ripstop-textured mesh upper features a perforated toe panel for breathability, while the fabric lace-loop overlay strap and padded tongue and collar help lock the foot in securely for a comfortable, supportive fit.
Underfoot, the Cloudnova 2 stands out with its hollow tube-segment midsole, a structure of open cushioning pods that run from heel to forefoot and give this shoe its signature bounce. The lug-pattern rubber outsole adds grip and durability, while the stacked heel height offers a noticeable lift that suits those who prefer extra cushioning underfoot. Tonal stitching around the toe cap and overlay panels, along with the grey 'On' branding and embossed 'CLOUDTEC' text on the midsole, give the shoe a clean, considered finish.
Whether paired with joggers for the gym or jeans for a casual day out, this low-top On Running trainer works well as an everyday lifestyle shoe with sporty credentials. It's a strong pick for anyone after a modern running-inspired trainer with genuine Swiss engineering behind the design, and a versatile addition to a rotation that already includes brands like Adidas or Converse.
