On 16 March 1966 opens the first Vans store in California, where the business manufactured shoes and selling them directly to the public. Their first selling shoes were the “Vans Authentic” which remain until nowadays one of the most popular trainer shoes. Vans focus to skateboarding shoes and related apparel and manages to keep the authentic American street style. The shoes have been embraced by professional skaters for its durability and good grip. It’s not a coincidence that in the ten best-selling trainers “Vans Ward” style is included. Some other very well-known trainers are “Slip-on™ Core Vans Shoes”,” The Unisex Old Skool Classic Skate Vans Shoes”, and “Vans Atwood Skate Shoes”. The Half Cab went on to become one of the most iconic and culturally significant shoes in the history of skateboarding. VANS earned fairly the title as the world most famous skateboarding shoe company.
