Moon Boot is a snow boot brand first created as après-ski wear in the early 1970s by manufacturer Tecnica Group of Giavera del Montello in Italy. They became a popular fad in the years following the Apollo 11 moon landing, and resurfaced as a retro futuristic fashion trend in the early 2000s. Consisting of a thin rubber outsole and cellular rubber midsole, the Moon Boot is covered in nylon fabrics of various different colors. Lace up detail and unmistakable Moon Boot branding completes the design. Since their launch 40 years ago, Moon Boots are now available in variety of colours and styles, from original nylon to fur trimmed.
