The desert boot is one of those rare styles that has barely needed updating since it was first made. Clarks Originals introduced the Wallabee and Desert Boot to menswear in the late 1940s, drawing on crepe soled footwear seen on soldiers returning from North Africa. The result was a two eyelet, unlined suede boot that struck a balance between casual and smart that very few styles have managed since. The range here covers the Desert Boot and Wallabee in suede and leather across a range of classic colourways, including the iconic sand suede and crepe sole combination that has remained largely unchanged for over 70 years.
